  About Ottawa Interpretive Association

Through the sale of environmental books and related items and through membership, the Ottawa Interpretive Association (OIA) generates funds. After operating expenses, profits are returned to the Ottawa National Forest in the form of project grants. Projects are interpretive, educational, and directly benefit the public on the Ottawa National Forest. Check out some of the interesting things the OIA has funded at the project page.

How to Find Us: Located at the intersection of Highways 45 and 2 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan at Watersmeet is the Ottawa National Forest Visitor Center.
