The Food-Safe Schools Action Guide provides a one-stop resource for preventing foodborne illness in the school environment. Developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and its partners in the National Coalition for Food-Safe Schools, the Action Guide helps schools identify gaps in food safety and develop an action plan for becoming food-safe. It includes specific recommendations on the roles individual school staff and community members play in preventing foodborne illness.
