This calculator is designed to assist depository institutions in assessing the effect the
Payment System Risk (PSR) policy changes
will have on their daylight overdraft charges. Under the revised policy, institutions will not be charged for collateralized daylight overdrafts but will incur a fee of 50 basis points for uncollateralized daylight overdrafts.
The revised policy also eliminates the deductible but provides a flat $150 fee waiver.

How It Works
The fee calculator requires you to enter three types of information:
- collateral available to pledge to your Reserve Bank
- value and duration of daylight overdraft activity throughout the day
- capital measure
Based on all of the information provided, the calculator will provide the following estimates:
- fees under the PSR policy changes
- fees under the current policy, for comparison purposes
