Local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC)

The LFCC Is Your “Board of Directors”Image of the 2008 C F C star logo

The Local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC) is responsible for the oversight of the Combined Federal Campaign for National Capital Area (CFCNCA). The LFCC is composed of Federal employees and representatives of labor unions with Federal employees as members. Decisions regarding the inclusion of charities in your local campaigns are made by the LFCC.

The National Capital Area LFCC, chaired by Vince Micone of the U.S. Department of Justice, has approved local charities that help residents in this area or in adjacent counties as having met the eligibility standards established by the CFC regulations.

The Principal Combined Fund Organization (PCFO) manages the CFCNCA. Every year, the LFCC selects one of the voluntary organizations to manage the CFCNCA campaign and its financial accounts. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) sets strict requirements for this role. The LFCC has chosen Global Impact for these responsibilities for the 2008 campaign.
