A food contact notification (FCN No. 533), submitted by ExxonMobil Chemical Company, to provide for the safe use of a polymer composed of one or more of the following: 1-decene, 1-dodecene, and 1-octene for use as an additive at levels up to 10% by weight in propylene homopolymers and copolymers.
The Environmental Review Group has determined that allowing this notification to become effective will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and therefore will not require the preparation of an environmental impact statement. This finding is based on information submitted by the notifier in an environmental assessment dated July 1, 2005.
