 This Farm Tour is included in your registration for the Annual Conference. Please be sure when you register that you check the box indicating that you will join us on the tour so that we may reserve your seat on the bus for you.
8:00 a.m. Leave New Orleans Hotel
Travel to Independence / Amite, LA – 2 hours
10:00 a.m. Anthony & Kevin Liuzza – largest strawberry producer in Louisiana (75 – 100) acres
11:30 a.m. Mark Liuzza (Jack Liuzza & Sons) – Mark is another young progressive strawberry grower.
12:30 p.m. Travel to Hammond for lunch @ Berry Town Produce. Berry Town produce is operated by Ronnie and Cindy Henderson. Cindy’s brother Anthony and nephew Kevin are strawberry and produce growers.
Travel to Ponchatula
 2:30 p.m. Morrow Farms – Eric Morrow is a young grower who has become a mover and shaker in the Louisiana strawberry business. Specialize in retail sales. Also visit with Eric’s cousin William Fletcher who is also a good Louisiana Grower.
3:45 p.m. Travel back to New Orleans – about an hour.
At one of the above farms we will have a presentation from J&M Industries on the row covers and small tunnels.
