Thank you for your interest in Antietam National Battlefield. Ranger-led curriculum-based programs are offered year round to school groups, scout troops, elder hostels, summer camps, ROTC, and other educational groups at Antietam Battlefield’s Mumma Farm Education Center. These programs are free, but must be reserved in advance. Park rangers also offer training/professional development seminars for teacher groups with advance reservations.
Also available on-line: downloadable curriculum materials to enhance classroom learning and teacher packets with pre- and post-visit activities to help prepare students for their on-site visit.
