Police seek gumball and candy machine thieves

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

LACEY, Wash. -- Police are looking for two men who have stolen gumball and candy machines in a string of seven thefts in the past month at restaurants and businesses. The burglars usually break in by throwing a rock through a window.

One restaurant manager told The Olympian he thought the thieves wanted to sell the machines on eBay. But machines taken Wednesday were found in a Tumwater cul de sac, destroyed for a small amount of change.
