Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) CDC is a part of the United States' federal (national) government; CDC promotes health and quality of life by preventing and controlling disease, injury, and disability.
National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF)* NOF is a national organization that promotes life-long bone-healthy habits to help prevent osteoporosis, a bone-weakening disease that adults sometimes get.
