Since its founding in 1896, Mass Audubon has been a leader of the bird conservation movement. We've had many successes in helping pass bird protection legislation, reducing practices that harm birds, and saving important wildlife habitat. A network of staff, volunteers, and members is the driving force behind our accomplishments.

• Find out about Mass Audubon scientific research projects—from the Oriole Project to bird surveys to grassland habitat restoration to snowy owl telemetry to the coastal waterbird program.
