Using Our Site

Welcome to ArizonaGuide.com, the State of Arizona's Official Tourism Web site. Our portal is designed to be your 'window' into tourism opportunities in the state of Arizona, making it easier for you to locate the information and service you need, ranging from Where to Go to a special section just for kids, Kids Zone and information about the Office of Tourism, The Agency. If there's something you can't find, we want to know!

Search

In the right column of pages on this site, you'll see a search area that allows you to type a keyword or phrase and select the "Go" button to retrieve a list of results that most closely match your query.

Navigation

Along the top of each page is a menu bar with links to Home, Where to Go, What to Do, Where to Stay, What's Happening, What to Know, Travel Deals and foreign language links.

Above the clock and weather information, towards the bottom of each page, a set of Site Topics appears, including, The Agency (information about the Arizona Office of Tourism), Press Room, Travel Professionals, Meeting Planners, and Kid Zone. Clicking on any one of these navigation buttons will take you to the main page for that group. These selections are designed to take you to information specific to the topic of your interest.

A standard set of navigational links can be found at the bottom of most of our Web site pages. These link to a method to Contact Us, this Help page and our Legal/Privacy Policy.

To return to the page you previously visited, just press your browser's Back Button.

Accessibility

Each of our new pages has been designed to be considerate of users accessing the site with special devices, such as screen readers, whenever possible. We use descriptive (ALT tags) words to supplement graphics. All pages of the site can be navigated even if you turn off image loading in your browser. The pages are designed to download as quickly as possible using 56K modem connections to the Internet. Our pages are 800 pixels wide and print best in landscape mode. Graphics have been optimized to maintain quality at the smallest possible file size.

General Notes About Browsers

These pages have been tested completely using Netscape 7 and up Internet Explorer 6 and up on both PC and Mac platforms. If you experience technical difficulties, let us know by e-mailing your comments to our Webmaster using the Contact Us link on the bottom of each page.
