The Registry is governed by its Members: U.S. and Mexican states, Canadian provinces and Indian tribes. Members have signed the Registry’s Statement of Principles and Goals (PDF, 31kb) supporting common greenhouse gas measurement and reporting standards. One Board Member per state, province or tribe serves on the Board of Directors of the Registry. Board Members are appointed by their respective Governors, Premiers, or other governing authority. All U.S. states, Canadian provinces, Mexican states, and Indian tribes are welcome to Become Members of the Registry by signing the Statement of Goals and Principles and submitting it to the Registry.
