VENUE

The Central Science Laboratory is a government agency covering a wide range of disciplines, providing scientific advice and technical support to public and private sector customers to ensure the safe and efficient production of food and the protection of the consumer and the environment.

CSL is 11 km from York and situated 370 km north of London. Air travel is straightforward: arrivals may be at London Heathrow or Stansted, Manchester or Leeds Bradford. The rail journey time from Manchester and London to York is approximately 2 hours and travel from Leeds airport to York takes just over one hour.
