Science Writers Symposium - November 10, 2008

Writing About the Future of Public Health

Science is the foundation for the FDA’s daily decisions on a wide range of products that affect human and animal health—from the most common food ingredients, to complex medical and surgical devices, to lifesaving drugs. The upcoming Science Writers Symposium and lab tour on November 10, 2008, will highlight how the FDA employs novel scientific approaches to critical medical issues. The event will offer science writers a useful starting point for exploring the wealth of scientific topics at the FDA.
