What is Rescula used for? Rescula is used to lower eye pressure in people with elevated eye pressure who cannot use other medications or who have not responded to other medications. Who should not take Rescula? You should not use Rescula if you are allergic to unoprostone isopropyl, benzalkonium chloride or any other ingredients. Special Warnings with Rescula: Rescula can increase the amount of brown pigment in the iris. These changes may be permanent. The change in eye color occurs slowly and may not be noticeable for months to several years. The long-term effects of the increased pigment are not known at this time.
