NNSA/SC Public
Affairs
The National Nuclear Security
Administration Service Center (NNSA/SC) Office of Public Affairs provides
support to NNSA/SC employees, DOE/HQ, other NNSA/SC Site Office
customers and the general public. The Public Affairs Office activities
include: Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) , Privacy Act, Virtual FOIA
Library, internet and intranet support, educational and community
involvement, and the full gamut of a public affairs office activities (media
and congressional relations, tribal relations, protocol, emergency public
information, news releases, speeches, briefing packages, and internal
employee communications). We are customer focused serving our
customers with the full range of public affairs products and services.
The NNSA/SC Public Affairs Director ensures
that the NNSA Headquarters Office of
Congressional,
Intergovernmental, and Public Affairs and other sites offices are informed
of issues that might result in broader public interest. The
NNSA/SC Public Affairs Director
is the represents the NNSA/SC when activities pertains to the
interpretation, review, and approval of public affairs related documents or
activities. For
