Organic Land Care Five-Day Course
January 9, 2009. The Northeast Organic Farming Association is holding its eigth annual 30-hour accreditation
course for professionals that provides the education needed for an understanding of organic land care design and maintenance. The five-day course will be held in four different Northeast states

A Charge to Implement IPM in All US Schools by 2015
January 7, 2009. Leaders in school administration, school health, concerned parents, IPM professionals and other interested individuals are needed to help increase awareness and generate a commitment to school IPM. A Strategic Plan to implement IPM in all US schools by 2015, released today, assesses the current status, compiles best practices and sets out a plan of action to accomplish this goal. More.

Postdoctoral Position Open at University of Florida
December 4, 2008. A two-year funded postdoctoral position is currently available to evaluate biological control for the management of whiteflies in greenhouse grown tomatoes. Position goals include determining and demonstrating the efficacy of IPM and biological control on greenhouse tomatoes. More. (PDF)
