Prints by James McNeill Whistler and His Contemporaries
Overview: 138 prints and drawings by Whistler and his contemporaries included selections from the National Gallery's collection and loans. The show was organized to complement James McNeill Whistler and to illustrate the artist's impact on early 20th-century printmaking. The works were selected by Eric Denker, coordinator of tours and lectures in the National Gallery's education department.
