Employment Opportunities
The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission employs approximately
500 full-time workers and 400 temporary workers in locations across the state.
Types of jobs vary widely, from park rangers and aides to engineering, planning,
construction and clerical positions. Each one plays an important role in the operation,
maintenance, improvement and protection of Washington's cherished state parks.
