American Wood-Preservers' Association (AWPA)
The American Wood-Preservers' Association (AWPA) represents the wood preservation industry in the U.S. and Canada.
AWPA's primary roles:
- Writing, revising, maintaining and publishing treated wood standards
- Providing a forum for technical and industry representatives to present and debate issues relevant to the treated wood industry

International Research Group on Wood Preservation (IRG)
The IRG provides a forum for scientists to present and publish their works related to wood preservation. Annual meetings are held to allow wood preservation scientists to discuss the latest information. The group counts more than 300 members from 52 countries.

Intermountain Roundwood Association (IRA)
The Intermountain Roundwood Association is a nonprofit representing the economic and educational interests of harvesters, producers and marketers of roundwood and associated products, materials and supplies. The IRA website helps contractors, retailers, Co-ops, government specifiers and end-users locate the roundwood products they need and direct them to convenient places to buy them.
