ClearWater Initiative    
ClearWater Initiative is a small non-governmental charitable organization that strives to provide clean, potable water solutions to populations in need. The organization was founded in 2007 by an American soldier deployed to Northern Uganda in support of the Global War on Terrorism. His passion and desire to help victims of conflict in the region inspired him to build the ClearWater Initiative.

World Day for Water    
The world celebrates the World Day for Water on 22 March. United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is promoting water-related activities organised by associations focussing on water issues from across the world.

Creek Connections    
Creek Connections has forged an effective partnership between Allegheny College and regional schools to turn waterways in western Pennsylvania into outdoor environmental laboratories. Emphasizing an investigation of local waterways, this project involves a hands-on, inquiry based, natural science education for a number of different schools. Water Quality data is posted online.

Clean Water Pipe Council    
The Clean Water Pipe Council is an advocacy group focused on the health, environmental, safety, and sustainability issues surrounding rigid PVC plastic and the water pipe made from it. Founded in July 2007, by a consortium of North American businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and concerned citizens, the Clean Water Pipe Council is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade organization. The goal is to accumulate and disseminate information about the distribution of safe, clean drinking water, and to ensure the quality of drinking water in municipal water systems.
