State Education and Environment Roundtable (SEER)      
SEER is working to improve learning through its National Network of Demonstration Schools, that use the EIC Model (using the Environment as an

Integrating Context for learning). The model employs natural and socio-cultural environments as the context for learning while taking into account the "best practices" of successful inservice, preservice, formal and nonformal educators. SEER is a consortium of 16 state departments of education.

Project Learning Tree          
Project Learning TreeĀ® (PLT) is an award winning, broad-based environmental education program for educators and students in PreK - grade 12. PLT helps students learn HOW to think, not WHAT to think, about the environment. PLT, a program of the American Forest Foundation, is one of the most widely used environmental education programs in the United States and abroad.

NEEAP - National Environmental Education Advancement Project    
Located at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, NEEAP is a national organization which aids state and local environmental education leaders in promoting their environmental education efforts and develops informational resources for building state capacities for environmental education. Earth Force      
Earth Force has recently launched a new program called Earth Force After School, that gives youth hands-on lessons by engaging them in environmental projects after school. Earth Force has national programs and local offices that engage youth in community action and environmental problem solving. They offer a catalog of products and educator training.

An Internet-based water quality monitoring project, with the goal of "creating a 'virtual' community aimed at preserving and restoring wild salmon and their habitat throughout the [northwest] region."
