If Trees Could Talk - Grades 6-8

Outside My Window is a project started by an international relations educator at Evergreen Valley High School in California. This project is designed to help students connect with other people around the world by exchanging photos taken through the windows of their houses and classrooms. To keep this broad and international, the learning standards are from the National Council on Social Studies and fit in with many local standards.

Flying WILD      
Flying WILD, a new program of the Council for Environmental Education, introduces middle school students to bird conservation through standards-based classroom activities and environmental stewardship projects. Flying WILD encourages schools to work closely with conservation organizations, community groups, and businesses involved with birds to implement school bird festivals — events in which students take a leading role in teaching their classmates and

Center for Improved Engineering and Science Education (CIESE) interdisciplinary projects that teachers can use to enhance their curriculum through use of the Internet.
