Identification Day at Texas Memorial Museum!

Have you ever wondered about a fossil you've found? Then bring it with you to Identification Day on Sunday, January 25th, from 1 pm to 5 pm. Experts from all over Central Texas will be on hand to look at and identify natural objects (fossils, bones, rocks, etc.) and archaeological materials (arrowheads, points, scrapers, etc.).

Darwin Day at the Texas Memorial Museum

Join TNSC on Sunday, February 8th from 12 pm until 5 pm for Darwin Day–a free, family-friendly special event celebrating the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin’s birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species.

TNSC Advisory Council

The purpose of the advisory council is to foster excellence in
the collection-based research, education and outreach of the
Texas Natural Science Center. Council members work to: advise and assist the director in the areas of marketing, fundraising and education; encourage financial support for exhibits, preservation of collections and a wide range of educational and research programs; and, identify and facilitate relationships with community leaders to the benefit of the Texas Natural Science Center.
