Robin Cowie

Robin Cowie is an internet entrepreneur, filmmaker, television producer and the president of World Wide Brands Inc.

Cowie is the recipient of:

• the Nova Award from the Producers Guild of America;
• the Independent Spirit Award from the Independent Feature Project;
• the Prix de Jeuvenes from the Cannes Film Festival;
• and the Professional Achievement Award from the University of Central Florida.

His latest film project, Altered, was recently released by Rogue Pictures. He is currently developing a new animated television series, Farm Force, with the Kids WB, a children’s book series called The Oddlings, and a family horror film, Freaps (think Gremlins).

Cowie has been the principal executive in 3 start up companies.

At Hollywood Cows Inc., a commercial production company, he grew the company from start up to a multimillion dollar organization ,which he sold to enter into the world of feature filmmaking.

At Haxan Films, he participated in the production of two television series, the development of 3 feature films, and numerous internet projects. Haxan was the successful production company behind The Blair Witch Project and Altered. Both projects used the internet extensively and both returned high yield profits to investors.

Over the last 4 years he took Worldwide Brands Inc. from a customer base of 10,000 to over 100,000 active members with annual revenues in excess of $5 million.

His first book eBay Performance! was published in 2007. He has toured the country teaching for eBay University and has been a key speaker at eBay’s national convention, eBay Live! for the last 4 years.

He is currently the host of a radio show and podcast for www.entrepreneur.com.
