Environmental Education Council of Ohio (EECO)        
"EECO is a non-profit organization for educators and others who are concerned about the environment." EECO sponsors meetings and workshops, and has a series of EE related publications.

EECO regional system provides professional throughout the state and annual and regional conferences, and the Projects and the state organizations such as ODNR Soil and Water, Div. of Wildlife, Water, Forestry and Recycling and Litter Prevention, Ohio Energy Project, Environmental Education Fund office and other local programs such as parks and nature centers; a number of Universities are willing to provide college credits for these EE trainings and workshops.

Greening of the Great Lakes    
This new Web site from Michigan State University (MSU) and Detroit's radio station WJR, is an online resource for anyone interested in learning about the Great Lakes region, related environmental issues, and ways that they can protect the environment. The Web site is divided into several categories related to the environment and features a news feed produced by MSU's Knight Center for Environmental Journalism through a news service called "Michigan's Echo."

Exotic Species Compendium of Activities to Protect the Ecosystem (ESCAPE)    
Developed by the Great Lakes Sea Grant Network, this classroom resource is a collection of 36 hands-on multi-disciplinary activities that incorporate experiments, art, music and games. ESCAPE introduces students to issues of exotic (non-native) aquatics: spread & transport, harmful effects, importance of environmental knowledge & responsibility of each student as an environmental steward.

Indiana Dunes Environmental Learning Center    
The school program was developed to be an integral part of the academic year for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. Conserve School - Wisconsin    
Audubon International Press Release - 6/28/04

Conserve School recently became the first school in the world to become designated as an Audubon International Signature Sanctuary. Signature certification is awarded only to new developments that are designed, constructed and maintained according to Audubon International’s precise planning standards and environmental disciplines. Conserve School, located in northeastern Wisconsin near the town of Land O’ Lakes, is a private, non-sectarian college preparatory boarding school for grades 9-12. Where typical schools are built as a way to live apart from the natural environment, Conserve School was designed to keep the natural environment as a prominent feature in the lives of the students where they live and attend classes as a reminder of the importance of stewardship. Teachers' Corner Features Great Lakes & Fisheries Education Resources    
Teachers’ Corner is a new Web-based clearinghouse for Great Lakes and fisheries K-12 education resources. All educational materials included on the site were professionally reviewed, and many provide a FREE lesson correlated to Michigan Science Benchmarks. Other features include a chart to compare materials side-by-side, links to relevant resources and organizations, and a discussion forum. Created under the supervision of Dr. Michaela Zint, School of Natural Resources & Environment and School of Education, University of Michigan through a grant from the Great Lakes Fishery Trust.

T and T Productions - Soo Locks Videos    
Site provides information on the dewater and rewater of the Mac Lock at the Soo Locks. T & T Productions produces videos showing the dewater and rewater process that the general public is never able to see. Videos available on CD or DVD and a portion of the sales are donated to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Visitor Center at the Soo Locks.
