Watersheds: Connecting Weather to the Environment    
Online course is a primer on how weather events relate to the health of a watershed, and how the public can take simple actions to protect watershed health. The on-line curriculum contains a collection of graphics that make it easy for meteorologists and others to explain watersheds visually.

Hubbard Brook Student and Teacher Resources

Exploring the Environment (ETE) Grades 9-12 Learning Modules      
ETE is a series of interdisciplinary, problem-based learning modules for high school students (online). World Rivers Day & Water for Life Decade    
The United Nations is launching the

"Water for Life Decade" this year,

to bring a higher profile to global water issues. As part of this, river enthusiasts from around the world are coming together to participate in the inaugural "World Rivers

Day" on September 25th, 2005. This will be patterned after the highly successful BC Rivers Day in western Canada, which is already one of the biggest events of its kind in the world, attracting up to 75,000 people annually. World Rivers Day will highlight the many values of our waterways and will strive to increase public awareness and encourage improved stewardship of rivers around the world.

Center for Improved Engineering and Science Education (CIESE) interdisciplinary projects that teachers can use to enhance their curriculum through use of the Internet.
