WGBH Lab and Teachers' Domain along with FRONTLINE, are announcing the open call for youth (ages 13-18), to produce video segments on climate change for "Youth Voices," a series of three informative webinars for student filmmakers. Youth are challenged to create a video short on a story of how climate change is impacting their communities.

Helping bats with "batsongs," Musical Mark, a children’s singer songwriter from Ohio, just released the new CD, "We’re Just Hangin’ Out." The 10 original, fun, and educational songs will help kids (and adults) learn about bats and perhaps be less afraid of them. Musical Mark will be touring the eastern U.S. in 2009 with a multi-media theatrical one-man show featuring the songs.

In partnership with the Albert I. Pierce Foundation, NAAEE has established a photography contest in conjunction with the upcoming NAAEE annual conference at the Virginia Beach Convention Center on November 14-17, 2007. NAAEE seeks photos that will inspire people to achieve environmental excellence. The winning photos will show how the visual arts can create a kinesthetic and emotional connection to the Earth.
