Project Learning Tree® (PLT) is an award winning, broad-based environmental education program for educators and students in PreK - grade 12. PLT helps students learn HOW to think, not WHAT to think, about the environment. PLT, a program of the American Forest Foundation, is one of the most widely used environmental education programs in the United States and abroad.

Project WILD is one of the most widely-used conservation and environmental education programs among educators of students in kindergarten through high school. Project WILD is based on the premise that young people and educators have a vital interest in learning about our natural world. The program emphasizes wildlife because of its intrinsic and ecological values.

Located at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, NEEAP is a national organization which aids state and local environmental education leaders in promoting their environmental education efforts and develops informational resources for building state capacities for environmental education.
