The Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy (CASSE) provides a resources page with educational material on the trade-offs between economic growth and environmental protection, economic sustainability, and national security. The downloadable resources include articles, slideshows, videos, and more. CASSE is a nonprofit organization founded by Brian Czech, a Conservation Biologist in the federal government who also teaches Ecological Economics at Virginia Tech. Australian Research Institute in Education for Sustainability (ARIES) releases study: Whole-school Approaches to Sustainability: An international review of whole-school sustainability programs, commissioned by the Australian Government. The study documents the experiences, achievements and lessons learned from nationwide, whole-school initiatives developing around the world. The Enviroschools Foundation provides support and strategic direction for a nationwide sustainable schools programme. Through the Enviroschools approach students develop skills, understanding, knowledge and confidence through planning, designing and creating a sustainable school.
