Geotermia

The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) is proud to present Geotermia, a Mexican professional journal that provides technical and other articles about geothermal energy research, development and utilization. The journal also features articles and papers on other clean and renewable energy resources such as wind and solar.

Geotermia has been published since 1985 by the Gerencia de Proyectos Geotermoeléctricos (GPG) – the geothermal division of the CFE (Comisión Federal de Electricidad). The last printed issue of Geotermia was issued in July 2001 (Vol. 16, Nos. 1, 2 and 3). Publication resumed with Volume 17, No. 1 (July-December 2004), but only in electronic format (pdf). This and future volumes of Geotermia will be presented exclusively on the GRC website.

Geotermia Editorial Submissions
The Geotermia Editorial Committee is headed by José Luis Quijano (CFE). Most papers in Geotermia will be presented in Spanish, with abstracts in English (though this order may sometimes be reversed). The editors of Geotermia invite members of the world geothermal community to submit professional technical papers about all aspects of geothermal research and development.
