Programming components provide support to environmental education through instructional requirements, teacher resources, training programs and other elements. The program components of a comprehensive capacity building program include the following: EE Training for Pre-service Teachers EE Training for Non-formal Educators Coordinated Teacher In-service Programs EE Training for Teacher Educators EE Correlations to State Standards State Assessment that includes EE See also Structure, Funding and Diversity areas for integration into a comprehensive system. (Note: Not all components are necessary to have in place for a comprehensive EE program. The prioritization of components and how they are achieved varies from state to state. Ultimately, comprehensive EE programs involve a majority of the components listed.)
