BTS Special Report: Sitting on the Runway: Current Aircraft Taxi times Now Exceed Pre-9/11 Experience

This report examines the amount of time that airline flights spend on the ground at airports across the country taxiing to and from the gate. Using taxi time data collected by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, the report examines the overall trends since data collection began in 1995 and identifies specific airports and time periods when passengers experience the longest taxi times.
