Steven Chu testified about his nomination as secretary of the Department of Energy. Among the topics he addressed were shifting the focus of U.S. energy policy to climate change and renewable energy technology. He also talked about the future of current policy on nuclear power and coal fueled energy production. Mr. Chu was introduced by Senators Feinstein and Boxer.
