Catherine acquires new journals for SAGE in many of the social science disciplines, specializing particularly in education, special education, educational psychology, political science, and research methodology. Before joining SAGE in 1995, she worked in textbook acquisitions, development, marketing, and sales for Prentice Hall and Delmar Publishing, following a term as publications manager for a large Washington D.C.-based association. She has enjoyed an editorial career in trade, educational, and association publishing since 1973.

Chris is responsible for acquiring and managing journal titles in science and medicine, including public health, neuroscience, orthopedics, gerontology, and psychiatry, as well as radiology, ophthalmology, and dentistry. Shelley has over 15 years of publishing experience and before joining SAGE, she served as Executive Editor for Oxford University Press and in prior roles has developed new products for CMEinfo, and managed and acquired journals for Lippincott Williams & Wilkins and W.B. Saunders Company. Shelley is also a founding member of the North American Chapter of the Association of Learned and Professional Scholarly Publishers (ALPSP).

Nancy’s focus is to expand SAGE’s growing list of journals in the basic sciences as they related to human health. Nancy has over 20 years of publishing experience and before joining SAGE, she served for ten years as Executive Editor at Wiley-Blackwell.  Througout her career, she has focused on science publishing for academics and professionals.  She  developed new electronic database products for Thomson Scientific, and managed and acquired journals for Chapman & Hall and Academic Press. Nancy is also an author herself, having published a series of review articles on lipid digestion in the Academic Press series: The Enzymes, and coauthored an article on database archives of genomic patterns in the journal, Developmental Dynamics.

Ron oversees the Controlled Circulation Publications division within SAGE, which focuses on managing, launching and acquiring medical journals with high individual subscriber bases. Ron has worked in publishing for 20 years, including the newspaper, magazine and journal fields, with supervisory responsibilities in editorial, production, marketing and sales. His forte is maximizing high individual-circulation journals with focused sales efforts, thus increasing revenue. Ron has been with SAGE since May 2006.

Courtney manages the medical and pharmacy/pharmacology journals published by SAGE in partnership with societies such as the American College of Clinical Pharmacology and the Society for Toxicologic Pathology.  She joined SAGE in 2007, after beginning her career in the biotech industry as an Associate Lab Technician for Invitrogen.  Courtney received her BA in English Literature with a minor in Biology from California State University at Channel Islands.

Jenny Lower manages SAGE's portfolio of education and special education journals, including the journals of the American Educational Research Association and the Hammill Institute on Disabilities. She began her career in publishing at SAGE assisting with social science journal acquisitions. She holds a B.A. in English and theology from Loyola Marymount University.
