Washington - During an interview this morning with Zimmer Radio, Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) called for Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich to resign. Costello noted that while we must always defend an individual’s due process rights, in this case, with the Governor’s own words on tape and the outrageousness of his actions, he should resign immediately to spare his children and the people of Illinois further embarrassment. If he does not resign, the state legislature should impeach him without delay.
