Is your TV Ready for the Digital TV (DTV) Conversion?
On February 17, 2009, TV stations will stop broadcasting on their current analog channels and will convert to Digital Television (DTV). DTV is an advanced broadcasting technology that offers improved picture and sound quality. Consumers who rely on antennas (including outside antennas and “rabbit ears”) to watch analog TV sets will need to obtain separate digital-to-analog set-top converter boxes to watch over-the-air TV.
