Education and Professional Background:

  • B.S. - Forestry, The University of Kentucky
  • M.S. - Forestry, (Silviculture & Soils), Mississippi State University
  • Ph.D. - Forest Ecophysiology, University of Missouri-Columbia

Responsibilities:

Statewide and regional programs on silviculture, forest regeneration, prescribed fire, forest herbicides, invasive species, forest IPM, and forest management. Provides training to Extension agents, landowners, foresters, and resource managers in these and related program areas. Co-Director of the Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health.
