Pet
of the Week
Franchesca is a lovely
adult female tabby cat who is
looking for that special home
to love her forever. She
has a super-friendly
personality and loves to
cuddle. If you have other
animals, she is really
good at playing nice in the
litter box; the more friends,
the better! She is always a
very happy cat that has
that "middle of the
road" personality. She
doesn't follow you around
and jump on you seeking
attention; nor does she hide
and ignore people. She is very
easy-going, and will come and
say "hi, how are
you?" and see if you want
to pet her or snuggle. If
you do, that's great! If not, she
knows she'll see you when
you do. If you would like more
info, call Star of the North
during adoption hours on Mon.,
Thurs. from 5-7 or Wed, Sat
from 12-3. E-mail adoptions@starnorth.org
for the application - or look
under the forms section on the
website www.starnorth.org where
you can also view all animals
available for adoption. You
can call the shelter for more
information at 218-245-3732.

IT'S
YOUR BUSINESS TO KNOW
KAXE would like to thank all
our business underwriters for their
strong support. These businesses understand the value of having
their name associated with KAXE.
Why? Because KAXE members support the businesses that
support KAXE. They will sometimes drive
50 miles to buy something at a business
that supports KAXE versus going across the
street to one that doesn't. Will
you provide us with a name of a business
you think should underwrite/support on
KAXE?
