Dear CropKing family, customers,and friends:
It is with much sadness that I write to inform you that Daniel J. Brentlinger, my father, your friend, a pioneer in the industry, and the owner of CropKing Inc. passed away November 8th, 2005. Dan battled cancer since he was a child, having a kidney removed at the age of 7 as well as various other tumors over the years. He fought the disease and won for over 50 years. He dedicated his life to his family and the hydroponic industry. He is survived by his wife Brenda, his four children: Mark, Jennifer, Paul, and Beth; his father, two brothers, and a sister.

CropKing Inc. will continue to provide the excellent service to which you have become accustomed. Prior to his death, Dan set into motion changes that we are continuing to implement to improve our service and your pricing. We will also be offering new and exciting products and systems that allow individuals to truly re-direct and re-invent their family farm and make their land pay. Look for us to become more efficient, functional, and competitive as the industry is changing very rapidly.

I know that Dan would want to say thank you, as do all of us, for the 23 years of support and we look forward to at least another 23 years in the future. Dan left me in charge to carry on the legacy of the business that he so loved, and to which he dedicated his life. Having grown up in the business, and by working closely with him for years, and I realize that I have huge shoes to fill and will do my absolute best to accomplish the goals and hold high the values that Dan always felt important. I look forward to this challenge and I know I have the help of all the great people of CropKing.
