Port Stephens Fisheries Institute
The Port Stephens Fisheries Institute (PSFI) is located at Taylors Beach approximately 10 km from Nelson Bay in the Port Stephens Council area (32.724 S, 152.146 E).
The Institute is approximately 10 km from Nelson Bay, 60 km north-east from Newcastle and 150 km north from Sydney.
The Institute is a multi-disciplinary centre with staff from five divisions within NSW DPI and a small group from the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) Marine Parks staff are also based on-site.
