Dear Prospective Microgreen Grower,

As you may recall, we have been developing a microgreen production system for the past few years. During that time we have worked out a lot of the bugs in the system and have been marketing microgreens in the Northern California market.

We continue to receive inquiries from people interested in getting involved in microgreens and we have decided to offer starter packages now in selected areas to selected growers. We will work closely with each grower to help as much as possible to insure the success of the system, although its success depends almost entirely on the management skills of the grower and his/her ability to do an excellent job of marketing.

Since microgreens are such a new product to consumers, education must be done at the local level. Sales work must be carried on continually. It will take six months to a year to build your market to be able to absorb the full production capacity of your greenhouse.

We currently have two different sizes of MicroGreen packages. The two rack system fits in a 18x28 greenhouse structure and will produce approximately 50 lbs. a week. The four rack system is available in two different greenhouses and is expected to produce approximately 100 lbs. of microgreens a week. The one bay gutter connect style greenhouse, 22â€™ wide by 56â€™ long can be later expanded, while the 24' x 56' gothic arch greenhouse is designed to be free standing.
