Welcome to the Adirondack Park Agency
The APA is a New York State government agency, consisting of approximately
72 staff and an eleven-member board. In 1971 the APA was created
by the State Legislature to develop long-range land use plans for
both public and private lands within the Park.
The Adirondack Park and Energy
The Agency has complied a list of resource links
that detail available programs, services and funding incentives
to assist property owners and Park residents on energy matters
and managing escalating energy costs. Energy

Adirondack Park Agency Broadcasts Public
Meetings
As
part of a state wide effort to promote public access to government
decision making, the APA now provides video and audio of its
monthly Agency public meetings. Advances in technology allow
for the broadcast of meetings on the Internet through the
use of webcasting. Archives of meetings will be available
for 30 days beginning with the April Agency Meeting. APA webcasting
will be live beginning with the May Agency Meeting. Please

and Archived Media page... |
