The Livestock Section of the West Virginia Department of Agriculture's Marketing and Development Division work
to promote and add value to livestock being produced in West Virginia. Livestock staff provides technical expertise in marketing
to farmers in marketing groups located around the state.
Staff provide numerous services to our farmers and citizens through the state including grading feeder calf sales, performing grading demonstrations, and providing input and discussions on the development of bio-security, agro-terrorism and other prominent topics.
