Public Health Responding to Potential Swine Flu Threat

Saint PaulRamsey County Public Health is working with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and local health care providers to respond to the unusual strain of swine influenza that has been making people ill in Mexico and parts of the U.S. 

Elections: The City of New Brighton will hold a City election on November 3rd, 2009.  Positions available will be Mayor and two Council positions.  Please click here to find out how to file for Cadidacy.

New Brighton Clean Up Day will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 from 8am to 2pm at the New Brighton Public Works Maintenance Garage, 700 5th Street NW. Click here for more details and a list of items you can drop off.

 

The City has recently received the final report for the Northwest Quadrant Market & Redevelopment Analysis completed by Colliers. The full report can be accessed here for review.

Minnesota State Law—Chapter 156 of the Session Laws of 2005—requires that “a city or county with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and base salaries of its three highest-paid employees."  For the City of New Brighton, titles and salaries as of Jan. 1, 2009, are: City Manager—$108,636, Finance Director----$109,128, and Public Safety Director—$109,128..  Published:  1-14-2009
