Alternate side parking is now in effect in the City of La Crosse. From 1:00AM - 6:00AM, vehicles shall be parked on even numbered sides of the street on those nights with an even calendar date and on odd numbered sides on odd calendar dates.

During the winter, it is important to keep sidewalks clear of snow and ice. Ord. 5.08 mandates owners to clear sidewalks in front of their houses or businesses within 24 hours after snow has ceased to fall. Failure to do so will result in a fine.
