Compost Site Reminder: Yard waste includes all materials originating in the yard and garden, which are capable of natural decomposition, including leaves, grass clippings, and other vegetation. Please do not leave boxes and bags at the compost site. These materials will not readily decompose. Please do not dispose of garbage, white goods, recyclables, construction materials or tires at the compost site. These items may be disposed through Veolia Environmental Services (888-688-4005). Also, please do not dispose of recreational fire pit ashes. The ashes might be warm enough to ignite the brush pile. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
2009 Garbage and Recycling User Fees:
The annual Garbage and Recycling User Fees for the City of Brillion residents will be applied to your 2008 Property Tax bills which are payable in 2009. This amount will be added to the first installment of the property tax bill and will de due by January 31, 2009. The 2009 garage and recycling user fees are:
45 gallon = $ 87.67
65 gallon = $ 92.04
95 gallon = $ 99.02
If you would like to change the size of your barrel for 2009, please contact City Hall by October 31, 2008. If you have any questions please contact Lori at City Hall.
