    Welcome to the Town of Blooming Grove

    The town of Blooming Grove is located in central Dane County, Wisconsin and borders the city of Madison to the West, village of McFarland and town of Dunn to the South, town of Cottage Grove to the East, and the city of Madison and town of Burke to the North.

    Blooming Grove has 1,724 residents, who reside in one of five different school districts: Madison, Monona Grove, Oregon, McFarland, and Sun Prarie. All residents are served by the town Board, Fire Department, town Clerk/Treasurer, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer, and Public Works Staff.

    Property Tax Update

    Property taxe bills have been mailed out and should have been recieved by all residents and land owners. If you have not recieved your property tax bill by Christmas Day, please call our office and let us know so we can get a duplicate out to you before the end of the year. We only accept checks or cash (not suggested) as forms of payment for property taxes, not Credit or Debit Cards. Our office hours will remain the same during December and January, but the office will be closed on December 24 and 25, 2008 as well as January 1 and 19, 2009. If you have any question regarding property taxes, feel free to contact us.

    New Hours for Building Inspector

    Our building inspector, Dean Eppler, will have new hours as of January 2, 2009. He will now be in the office from 9:30am to 10:30am on Wednesdays. This will accomidate his schedule more appropriately; as always though if you need to reach him, or schedule an appointment with him please contact him at 608.576.6370.

The Voter Registration and Absentee Ballot forms are fillable so you can type your information on the form before you bring them in! If you have any questions, please contact the office.

    Yard Waste time Again!

    Yard Waste Pickup has concluded. Any yard waste that was not collected will be picked up in spring.

    Chipping pick up December through March

    Chipping, including Christmas Trees, will only be picked up once in December and once in January. Unfortunately due to the weather, we are unsure of what those days will be. Please have your chipping out with the butt end facing the curb by the first of the month to make sure your chipping gets picked up!
