Located on the Great River Road, Bay City is a small community of about 500. 

Stop and enjoy Bay City's comfortable, quiet hometown charm along with some of the most beautiful scenic views of the bluffs, lake and wild life.  With our own history center, campground, parks and family owned businesses our community will take great care of you.  Only minutes from multiple orchards, vineyards, golf courses and historical sites including the birthplace of Laura Ingalls Wilder.  For those a little less "country" we are only minutes from shopping including Red Wing's "Antique Alley",  movie theaters, the historic Sheldon Theater and St. James Hotel, a casino and less than an hour from Minneapolis/St. Paul and Mall of America.  With all of this to enjoy, why go anywhere else?
