To help ensure a timely, efficient resolution
to the
area code exhaust problem, the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin
ordered relief for both areas by means of an overlay. Area code 715 will have
an overlay of new area code 534, while area code 920 will have an overlay of new
area code 274. Read the

»On February 17, 2009 television stations will start broadcasting using
only “digital” technology.
To prepare for the transition to digital-only broadcasting, consumers who currently have
analog televisions (i.e. those that rely on a rooftop antenna or “rabbit
ears”) will need to obtain a separate digital-to-analog converter box
to watch over-the-air television.
